This morning after breakfast proceed for a full day guided tour to visit one of the Seven Wonders. The great Pyramids of Giza; (Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus) were reckoned by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A single pyramid is built with 2.300.000 blocks, each weighing an average of two and a half tones. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren (2620 BC). Hewn from natural yellowish limestone and standing 65 feet-high and 187 feet-long, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion's body. A quick visit to papyrus institute or a perfume shop can be arranged after the visit. Later visit the Egyptian Museum for another unforgettable tour. The museum's exhibited collections now exceed 120,000 objects ranging from pre-historic era to the Greco Roman period. Later, returning back to the hotel, evening is free at leisure. This morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Cairo airport for a flight to Aswan (Flight on own). Upon arrival, transfer to the Nile cruise. Check in to the cruise and lunch on board. Later proceed to visit the high dam, the temple of Philae. Return back to the cruise and dinner on board. Overnight on board a cruise ship in Aswan.
This morning breakfast on board. Proceed to visit the Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god and Horus, the falcon god. After exploring this fascinating site, continue sailing towards Edfu. Return back to the cruise and dinner on board. Overnight on board a cruise ship as you sail towards Luxor, ready for the adventures that await.
This morning after breakfast proceed to visit Horus Temple in Edfu. Then sail to Luxor and visit Luxor temples on the East bank renowned for its towering papyrus columns and its unique history as a site of religious significance across three faiths. Within its grounds, you’ll find remnants of an ancient Christian church and the Abu Haggag Mosque, highlighting the site’s layered cultural heritage. Dinner and overnight on board a cruise ship.
After breakfast check out from the cruise and visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, the Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank. After the tour transfer to Luxor airport for the flight to Cairo (Flight on own). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight at the hotel in Cairo.
